Broad Ripple has character, and our South Broad Ripple plumbers do, too.
What did you do last weekend? It’s the dreaded question you face at the beginning of the work week, usually asked by someone who doesn’t want an answer, but you feel obligated to provide one regardless. Then you have to ask that question in return, and the cycle continues until one of you finally breaks and slinks off to the break room to pretend to fill up your already-full coffee mug.
Today we’re going to be the other guy. Today we’re going to tell you what we did this weekend even though you didn’t ask, and we’re telling you because it has to do with you.
Last weekend, we asked all of our awesome employees to come in for an afternoon of Yats, beer, and chit-chat. Our goal (other than offering our team a much-deserved fun afternoon) was to capture the personality and expertise of each person who works for Hope Plumbing. We want to do this because we want you to get to know us.
For some of you, we’re a number in a phone book, a Twitter account, or the answer to a quick Google search. You call us with blind faith and wait for strangers in logoed vans to show up at your house and fix what is likely a nasty problem.
At the end of the day, we’re customers just like you. All of us have had to call a service company to right some wrong in our homes, and we’ve gone through the same process. The more we thought about it, we realized that it doesn’t have to be this way. You have a right to know exactly who is coming to your home beyond just a name.
It’s this thought that lead us to create the Hope Plumbing Employee Series. Each post and the short video will highlight one of our employees. You’ll get to know who they are, what they like to do, and why they got into this industry.
Once we get the series up (we’re still editing), you’ll be able to get the name of your technician in advance and then check out their story on our website. We hope that this makes you feel less like you’re inviting a stranger into your home, and more like you’re welcoming a friend you haven’t met face to face yet.
We hope you enjoy getting to know our employees better and stop by for a beer sometime so we can get to know you too!
